Andy Produktion A/S is an international, family-owned company with a strong foundation. With a range of more than 20 private label brands to our customers, Andy produktion provides basic & fashion hair accessories, beauty and personal care products for women, men, teenagers and children.

3rd owner generation

2019

In December 2019, Per Byholt Leibøll Jensen – son of John Leibøll Jensen – takes over the Company and becomes the 3rd generation of Andy Produktion A/S

Moving to new domicil

2015

Andy moves out of the premises in Risskov and into the new domicil in Højbjerg. This year is also the year where the last Colours in Fashion collection and catalogue is produced.

Rivals & Partners

2008

Andy Produktion’s wholesale is handed over to the company rival Chrisco A/S together with a five-year partnership agreement.

Made in China

2006

The production in Denmark is closing down and Andy starts building a 1200 m2 factory in China to relocate the production.

The 2nd generation takes over

2002

Founder Poul-Andy Jensen leaves the company as owner and a new company structure is set with John as the new CEO at Andy.

This is also the year where the rest of Andy – the production – is moved to Risskov and the old factory is sold to BKI Coffee.

From Højbjerg to Risskov

1998

The Andy administration and wholesale warehouse is relocated in new and larger premises in Risskov while the production maintains in Holme.

Focus on Hair Accessories

1985

In 1985 the company decided a strategy with focus on a new product group – hair accessories. At the same time, a strategy was put in place to seek out new markets in Finland, Norway and Sweden.

Nylon earclips

1976

The family builds a new factory in the industrial area in Holme. Three years later the company develops its first line of bijouterie and in 1981 nylon earclips become a great sales succes.

Export to Sweden

1973

Poul-Andy Jensen Plast begins export to Sweden.

Factory from the family house

1964

The family house on Kvædevej in Højbjerg is completed and a production of metal buttons for the textile industry started from Poul and Inga Jensens livingroom. Six years later, the family’s garage turns into stockhouse and dyes. One year later, in 1971, a new plastic molding machine is purchased and set up in the garage, and the production changes from metal to plastic.

In 1972 Poul-Andy Jensen leaves his permanent job to become a fulltime entrepreneur. A double garage is build for production and the company, now called Poul-Andy Jensen Plast, expands with two additional machines for plast production.
